Ans. If you are a Visitor/litigant who wishes to visit the SCI for official/case related purpose and want to obtain online ePass without visiting reception office then choose Suswagatam portal the digital online ePass system.
Following are the steps to one time register on the portal;
Note: Before starting registration keep the following details ready:
• Mobile no. to receive the OTP,
• Identity proof (Anyone Pancard, Voter id, Driving license, Passport, Bar Registration Certificate for Adovocate/Sr.Adovocate, Press ID for Journalist) in JPEG/JPG format size upto 1mb.
• Smart Phone/Laptop with Camera functionality and having internet facility.

Step-1 : Visit https://suswagatam.sci.gov.in
Step-2 : Click on Visitor/Institution Login
Step-3 : Click on ‘if not registered? Registration’


Step-4 : Fill the details viz. Name, Gender and Mobile no.


Step-5: Enter the OTP (One time password) sent on your mobile and set your password.

Step-6: In the next step update your profile details. This step is crucial to ensure that the ePass generation process is efficient and error free.

Step-7: Personal details: This section is non-editable after it has been saved successfully. So fill it carefully and accurately.

Step-9: Category Role/Role, ID Details:
• SelectCategory / Role on the basis of which you will able to submit online ePass request.
• You can update your Category/Role as per your requirements and can submit ePass request for approval to appropriate authorizing authority.

1. Police Clearance Certificate/Other Document& Photo of the visitor:
• Upload PCC if you require ePass for more than a week as per your Category/Role.
• Journalist may upload the ”letter signed by Chief of Bureau and Editor” which is mandatory document for Journalist ePass.
• After Clicking Capture button a popup message will appear “Capture full face front View Picture”


After successful registration you will be able to login into the portal using your registered mobile no. as your login id and password set during the registration process or through OTP.

Step-2: After Login to the portal system will display the dashboard as below:


Step-3: Click on the ‘Request ePass’. The ePass form will appear as per the Category/Role updated in the profile section.


Step-4: Fill the form, select the appropriate approving authority and submit the request.

Step-5: On submission, the authorizing officer will receive the notification on Email and SMS.

Step-6: Authorizing officer approve/reject the request either from the link received on their registered Email Id/SMS or by login into the portal.

Step-7: Once the request is processed you will receive notification through Email/SMS or you can check the status by login into the portal.
On approval, you will receive the ePass on your registered Email ID or you can download it by login into the portal.

Ans. You can update your profile except your personal details which include Name, Mother’s/Father’s/Husband’s Name, DOB. saved during registration.
Step-1 Login into the portal with your registered mobile no. from the ‘Visitors /Litigant’ Login link from the Suswagatam homepage.

Step-2 Click on ‘Update Profile’ in the dashboard .


Step-3 Click on the relevant section which you want to update.
a) Address & Other Details


b) Category/Role, ID Details:
Update Category / Role to submit the ePass request accordingly.


c) Photo, PCC/Other document:
For Journalist may upload the ‘letter signed by Chief of Bureau and Editor’ which is mandatory document for Journalist ePass.
Click on the ‘Capture Photo’ to capture your full face front View Picture


ePass cannot be generated online for visitors below 18 years age (minor). Such visitors need to contact the Public Relation Officer (PRO) of the Supreme Court of India to obtain their pass. However, minor can still register themselves on the portal and can access their SuSwagatam dashboard to view the details of the passes that have been issued to them at the Reception.

Step-1 Login into the portal with your registered mobile no. from the ‘Visitors /Litigant’ Login link from the Suswagatam homepage.

Step-2 Click on the menu bar item ‘Active ePass’/ ‘Pending Request’ / ‘Rejected’ link to check the status of ePass request.

Senior Advocates /Advocates, upon uploading valid bar council details in profile page, are privileged to generate self- authorized ePass for a period of up to one month.

Step-1 Click on ‘Visitor/Institution Login’

Step-2 Login with your registered mobile no. If not registered on the portal, register yourself by clicking on the link ‘if not registered? Registration’

Step-3  Check Category/Role and other details updated at the time of registration. For a Sr. Advocate/Advocate, the visitor Activity / Role should be Sr.Advocate /Advocate.

Step-4  For any discrepancy in profile, click on ‘update profile’ to update profile. Make sure that profile details are correct and you have uploaded valid bar council ID.

Step-4  After clicking ‘Request ePass’ fill the relevant details.

Step-5 Click on ‘submit’ button to generate self-authorized ePass which can be downloaded from the portal. Also, you will receive the ePass on your registered email ID.


Step-6   Active ePass can be downloaded at any time by login to the portal from the top

             menu ‘Active ePass’.


Step-7   At the gate of the SCI, show ePass and valid original copy of the Bar Code ID

             uploaded on the portal.

·        Litigant can submit a Court Room request for attending a court hearing via the cause list.

·        The request will be submitted to the appropriate authorizing authority, which could be the respective AOR (Advocate on Record) of the case, Senior Advocates, and Registry Officers in specific cases such as Contempt cases or Court orders.

·        If the login details of the AORs are not available in the SuSwagatam master database, the system will prompt them to collect the Pass from the reception

Check your Category/Role and other details updated by you at the time of registration. For a litigant, the visitor activity / Role should be litigant. Make sure that profile details are correct.

Step-3  Fill the required information as per the Cause list and Select the ‘AOR’ in the drop down menu and click on ‘Submit’ button

Litigant ePass can be authorized by :
- Concerned AOR
- Sr. Advocate
- Officer in the rank of Branch Officer & above.

 

Step-4  On approval, you will receive ePass on your email or it can be downloaded by login to the portal.

·        Litigant can submit a Court Room request for attending a court hearing via the cause list.
